Are there any members to OneSeason.com here or at the SportsBuy forum?

I am joining and I may be late but I like the idea and it has the feel of a market and not a joke.

I looked it over and they also had a special on TV about it. It seems to be a site to trade shares in players. You have the total number of shares and the cost per share. I wonder if it will be a fair way to evaluate each player.

I am still studying the platform but so far I like it real well. It's even closer to a real trading platform. They are coming out with a few new IPO's this week and one is Griffey Jr. but I will be glad if and when they do some rookies. Most of what they have now are seasoned older players and believe it or not, MJ is one of the main trades and he does not even play so I do not get that part yet.

It seems they are trading in something besides players, sorta like cards because they base the values somewhat on statistics and ability.

If you get a chance, go by and at least check out the ticker. The prices are amazing.

Jordan was very hot in the first wave before the crash..One thing they do now is ask questions related to the IPO which wasn't done in the past..Some traders have done very well there, it depends when you get in , and then in relation to the stability of the market there...

There is another site I think called protrade or prosport trade, it has somewhat of a simiiar set up but it is based on derivatives. you would place real $$ on things like sports or the Dow Jones, making an up/down prediction with an expiry type of date..If I can find the link, I'll post it here....jm

Ok thanks, I'll check out the link when you find it. You need real cash at OneSeason.com and you are trading for real players and how they do in the future. I think the platform that they use may stand a good chance of going all the way.

OneSeason.com is based in the USA. That eased my mind a little. For me, OneSeason.com was very simple and I need something simple.  Grin

One mistake they made, if you hover on the players 4 letter symbol, a small panel comes up telling you the players name. It covers the ticker up and they should have made the hover go down instead of up.

Kobe is down this morning:

Kobe
1.72 -2.82%
$35.920

And Lebron is up:

King
1.75 +1.74%
$31,642

I think there is a limit of $2500 a year and they do not take Paypal which is a huge mistake.

You can talk with friends via message and there is a forum. You can also block people from messaging you:

Theres not a lot of ticker movement yet and thats why I think they need more rookie players. The seasoned players are established and theres not going to be a lot of movement there unless something spectacular happens.
