I went over, registered and am angry I did..Takes forever to login--if at all--you can use paypal to fund but only get a paper check to withdraw..With $10 of my money and their free $10, that is all I'll wager if I can ever  am able to logon..Site is slower than dial up, I don't have the problem elsewhere...jm

Maybe it was a slow day. I had no troubles at all. I did back out when it ask for 10 bucks and my credit card info but then later I got a notice saying I was in free. I was able to check everything before giving up my money info.

Sometimes, SSL pages are kinda slow.

I feel a little better about the site but am unhappy with the order format..You can see your transactions easily on  thepit but on oneseason it requires some navigation from one to another,no interface or link..The speed to do it can be very very slow..You can not edit orders there either( which you can do on thepit)it requires that you cancel and then start over..The overall design could be a lot more friendly..

I'm sticking to just the $ 20, 10 theirs, 10 mine.......jm

Remember when the Pit first started? It took time to get it even halfway decent and I still left because I was so sick of the fighting. For me the Pit was just kids on daddy's computers. This is more grownup but may take time to become user-friendly and for them to get it right.

The first oneseason saw people walk away with some serious $$..It resembled a chain letter, those first in cleaned up, the rest died..

This second attempt is being run w/ more maturity..The IPOs are being released at random times, the old way saw the server crash..There seems to be more control on the way the market runs, manipulation is still possible but less so...

Thepit has been good to me although my buys have exceeded sells lately, I'm hoping it is the economy and nothing more..I can wait out the doldrums but a crash there would hurt me..My current port there has grown mostly because of buys rather than higher value..

Years back there was a pit member w/ a $ 30,000 port, legit. 30K..I'd be scared w/ that kind of $$ in that kind of venue......jm

I knew one that was at 22k and one that had maxed his port out. he was one of the fighters tho but when the Bonds fighting was going on. The oneseason holdings at one time was 22 million but fell like you said. here lately it has began to show a nice manageably steady climb.

I like it because you can purchase and it will not move the price up or down a ton. The growth is in smaller terms, it's closer to a true market and it has worldwide interest. I truely believe it will out perform the Pit 100 to 1.

I tend to agree it will do well because oneseason learned from mistakes the first time around..I think the AirJordan went sky high in the early days, those going in early cleaned up, those getting in last held the bag..

Thepit has nagging problems, today the site was down until early afternoon..The trading has slowed and only seems to surge when there are IPOs..I've made small profits inport there that have added up to hundreds of $$ over the past 2 years,..Things could have been much better if there were more members trading..

If oneseason blasts off with a legit. market, I'll put in more than the $ 20 I'm playing with now...jm

Me Too! I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I will get the forum behind oneseason as much as it was behind The Pit at one time. theres one heck of a crowd that needs a palce to hang and talk about it.

I hope you are able to get people there and I hope it takes off in a correct manner unlike the first time around..I'm there and willing to put in more $$ if it looks good..

I got a couple of sells last night on thepit which amazed me for 2 reasons..
First, the site was down most of the day..Second, the sells were on just so/so players..I got a block of Tiger Woods and Dwayne Wade sell offers, at a good price, that just continue to sit..Go figure!!jm

What i would do is continue to develop this site. I will keep a thread for The Pit and the other sites associated with the Pit and also a thread for oneseason. I also want to keep an active thread on killer eBay deals, sort of a notification thread that members can subscribe to and when we find real good deals on players they are watching, the forum will send them an email.

I start training a new helper  this week that will really help with my load. i have 5 new sites to build this week alone. My hosting company has really taken off and is doing well. We have a group of really good people. I have a group of 100 forming a new gaming forum which I am a part of and there should be some spill over. The sales sound great, keep up the good work and let people know that you are doing well on the The Pit.

Thanks again for all your efforts here..I think the internet has great potential for so many good things..Too bad some people resort to developing porn sites, hate group rhetoric etc etc..

As you develop these new things, keep us posted here, maybe you 'll get new members here or elsewhere and maybe even a few investors, who knows....jm
